Nicole Chui x OOF Gallery

July 2025

Nicole Chui‘s solo exhibition ‘Ruined’ has opened at OOF Gallery at Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium, the only art space and publication dedicated to the relationship between art and football. The culmination of a 3 month residency ‘Ruined’ is an exploration of Nicole’s creative practice and it’s convergence with her love of football. ‘Ruined’ is a response to an online comment, “You’re ruining a perfectly good football shirt!!!’, and the show is a call for positive disruption and a shout out to the joyousness of the women’s football community.

Nicole Chui Ruined exhibition

Nicole has embroidered, reassembled and reimagined football shirts and accessories and hung the pieces in a dynamic installation, celebrating personal narratives, creative collaborations and inspired the community she has met through women’s football and her own team Baes FC. Football has long been an inspiration for Nicole’s artistic practice and the exhibition is a beautiful reflection of the convergence of her two passions, and her personal manifesto to disrupt expectations and embrace raw emotion.

The exhibition is open until 2nd August. Upstairs at OOF Gallery, Warmington House 744 High Road London N17 0AP
