Calum Heath x Frasers

In the last couple of years, the rise of fashion brands championing illustration and animation to reflect the craft in their offering has been exponential, it’s also a reminder that something hand crafted reflects talent and exudes a natural luxury. That’s why we were excited when British fashion department store, Frasers, reached out to collaborate with Calum Heath on two short animated films, celebrating the launch of their Autumn 2026 campaign.
Marking sweater season with a new campaign, Frasers wanted Calum to centre their hero products for the season from brands Coach, Ganni and Barbour. Each short 15 second film focused on one character, set amongst an Autumn inspired scene taking cues from the campaigns corresponding photoshoots. For the project we enlisted the help of talented animator Michael William Lester, to help Calum bring the films to life.

The first film “Windy Day” sees a model sitting reading in an autumnal vineyard setting, while the wind blows through the scene, with her notable Barbour waxed jacket flapping in the wind. When a gust of wind blows this from the models chair, she quickly grabs the jacket and zips it up, with a panning shot over a Ganni T-shirt from the Frasers campaign, ending with the mode staring out over the vineyard.

The second film pulls focus on the idea of an “Autumn Harvest”, where the main character of the film can be seen plucking various fashion items from a tree and placing them into a whicker basket. Amongst the basket can be seen a coach bag, Barbour scarf, Ganni beanie and a pair of Steve Madden ballet heels, all plucked like fresh produce. Once the basket has been picked up from the ground, it reveals the written encouragement to ‘Shop Autumn at Frasers’ spelt out in twigs and leaves.

It was great to see Calum and Michael join forces and bring the Frasers team’s vision to life, while putting Calum’s hand rendered comic inspired style at the heart of the campaign.
