Deploying her dyslexia as a super power, and geometric compositions and vibrant colours as her tools, Rocio Egio’s illustration celebrates the complexity of the commonplace in exhilarating simplicity. It is the subtle details that set her illustrations apart and attest to the love of her subjects. Positive messages abound, working with a manifesto to do it with love, share optimism and be authentic, it is hard to resist anything other than full immersion in Rocio’s playful world.
Rocio grew up in Alicante on the mediterranean coast and now lives and works in Lausanne, Switzerland. Her clients include The New York Times Kids, The Washington Post, Chronicle Books, Viu Eyewear, the United Nations and the International Trade Centre.
