Dutch illustrator Philip Lindeman’s infinite imagination takes you into a fictional reality, filled with tragedies, mysticism and humorous situations that feel recognisable from daily life. Outlandish characters mingle with recognisable people in his incredibly detailed illustrated scenes that are filled with jokes and nostalgic Easter eggs from his own childhood drawings of Space Jam characters, superheroes and crooks, inviting us to search the milieu in a Where’s Wally style hunt. He thrives on the challenge of each commission, finding creative solutions and connecting each project to his previous illustrations and visual world. His colourful illustration style draws inspiration from the ‘60s and ‘70s illustrations of Milton Glaser and John Alcorn amongst others, and is marked by the thick black outline of the characters and environments, with varied palettes depending on the mood of the scene.
Philip’s clients include Moog, Westergas, T-Mobile, Deutsche Bahn, Die Zeit, De Volkskrant and ProRail.
