Based in the Peak District of the UK, Kyle Platts is an established illustrator, animator and comic artist. Combining his love of graphic novels and horror, Kyle masterfully blends bright colour palettes and surreal elements to create light hearted illustrations with a wry wit.
Over the past decade he has applied his signature style to commercial campaigns, editorial illustration, animation and murals, as well as publishing a few books. Along the way, through his personal and commercial exploration Kyle has carefully honed his illustration and animation sensibilities.
Lending from his background in comics, he has filled his portfolio with truly unique works which feature playful narratives, pacing and compositions.
Kyle’s clients include Ikea, Google, The BBC, The New York Times, Moog, Bloomberg and Sydney Opera House.
