Super Freak x Zara Kids

Creating a capsule collection of clothing was a dream come true for Super Freak (aka Dan Whitehouse) when Zara Kids came calling earlier this year. Zara have a long standing tradition of collaborating with artists and illustrators on bespoke collections, making distinctive and fun designs for kids and we were thrilled for Dan to join this line-up.

Dan put together a whole bunch of illustrated motifs and icons in his unique style with suggestions for garments and how the illustrations could be used. The design team then set about putting together the capsule collection of hoodies, long sleeved t-shirt and a bag.

“This small capsule was such a dream to work on!! The ZARA kids team gave me free-reign to produce a range of fun motifs and graphics that would form this very cheeky collection. It’s a real ‘pinch me’ moment seeing my name and goofy characters colliding with a global brand like ZARA…. What the heck!!”
