Clément Thoby x GQ Heroes

At the beginning of July the great and the good of music, film, fashion and politics gathered at Soho Farmhouse for GQ Heroes, the annual event celebrating creativity and radical thinking. Backdropping two days of talks, creative sessions and performances was the sublime artwork of Clément Thoby.

Clément created two stunning illustrations of the famous Oxfordshire location in his distinctive colour pencil style. These illustrations were then animated with chic characters strolling through the bucolic scenes to be used for social teaser posts and across the event site. Abstract crops were cleaned up and animated to create gorgeous canvases for interviews and panel discussions.

Assets from the stills and animations were used across the event from stage backdrops to a newspaper, as well as in OOH advertising, on British GQ’s social media and a dedicated website for the event.
